After living in the United States for 20 years, they saw a clear gap - traditional Sudanese products and cultural essentials were almost impossible to find outside Sudan.
From that need, Mayrum was born to bring Sudan into people’s homes through food, drink, scent, and tradition.

The term was later coined to refer to any Sudanese woman who is known for her generosity, hospitality, and delicious food.
